That is a British cartridge with a case like 45-90 Win, but throated for a 480 grain bullet. With this bullet, at least you have a chance that you can find a load that will regulate. OP Larry21556 Sidelock Joined: Nov 2012 Posts: 122	Both good suggestions. I went to the Krieger web site and they offer a .458 henry rifled barrel in 1.3" dia. If they would turn that down to 5/8" that might be the answer. What do you think??

I'm never a fan of lining, but that is just me. A lot of very good gunsmiths offer lining on black powder cartridges. You might check with John Taylor over on the ASSRA sight.
