Boasting that "the NRA is the only game in town" is not only untrue, it disrespects the good work of outfits like the Izaak Walton League, and blows off gun owners who want a voice but don't find it in the NRA.
Jack, you remain the master of the circular argument. Note that as an Ike, I am well aware of the organization's "good work"--just not aware of that work, in specific, on gun rights issues in DC. But interesting that after several posts of "dissing" the NRA, you defend the Ikes because the NRA says that it is an "active" pro-firearms organization.:) Yet you have not produced a single example of how "active" the IWLA is on gun rights issues as a lobbying organization in DC. But if you're willing to hang your hat on what the NRA says, after pounding on the NRA for several posts . . . Interesting logic.
