Roger Barlow purchased and wrote about his SMFM "Electrique" in the April of 1975 American RIfleman. He bought the gun on a trip to St. Etienne and stated he used it for quail hunting. There is a photo of the breech of the gun, which appears to be a fairly conventional looking boxlock, with the breech balls decorated with thunderbolts.
There is also a photo of the primers the gun used, but, only a paragraph of the article is specific to this gun. According to Roger, only the primers were unique, the hulls were otherwise conventional.
It was a 12 gauge. I wonder what happend to it, and if it gets used for hunting today?
