On the above image, can you shed a little more light on the marks? I'm curious how you know it landed up in Britain, or was it a commonwealth or colony? It experienced proof in December 1931. I don't recall the exact date when reciprocity existed between German & Great Britain thru a series of special agreements between the two, but it was short lived as on May 22nd, 1946 Great Britain divorced. Germany, Belgium, France(June 4th, 1926) & Italy(1920) agreed on reciprocity per the July 15th, 1914 agreement but due to WWI, the adoption may have been in the mid 1920s. So my question is that since it bears zero British touchmarks, did the sporting weapon fall in that special period in its arrival in Great Britain?
