Arrieta and buzz. Thanks for the posts. It's crazy isn't it, I could understand some items needing to be controlled but I think a lot of this red tape is just an excuse to bleed more money out of the working mans pockets. I had to pay several hundred pounds in import duty and handling charges for some tools that I bought in from the USA last year, it'd seem that cash oils the wheels
I suppose if you were caught importing or exporting without the proper paperwork that the end result could be a big cash fine too.
