I love light game guns. A 6-1/2 pound British twelve is about perfect for any North American game bird. And I really, really like sub-six pound sub-bores.

But if I am going to shoot two hundred rounds of ATA trap with 1-1/8oz 1150 fps shells in a SxS I want a nice heavy gun like a 21.

I think 21s and Harleys are classic American products. Both very big, very shiny, and very overbuilt when compared to their contemporary overseas competitors. But both also perfectly suited to their intended purpose.

And as Franc and others have said it is a matter of taste.
