I am assisting a Gentleman who is cleaning out his accumulation of shooting stuff who found the following - a set of LC Smith 28 " 20 gauge barrels marked FW 108171 and a LC Smith complete 16 gauge field grade less trigger guard and wood.

The 20 barrels need refinishing but have no dents or pits and the interior of the bores are bright. The 16 gauge barrels are the same, the rest of the parts are bereft of any case or finish but are not rusted, it has a few buggered screws but no gouges or pitting and a seemingly tight lockup.

Of lessor value and interest is a set of 20 ga barrels for a Savage Fox Model B, in the same condition as the above barrels.

I have a couple of photos I took with my phone that I will be able to post tomorrow.

I was curious as to the approximate fair value of these parts.

Best way to sell what you have is on EBay or Gunbroker. Market will set price and you will get a lot of people look a what you are trying to sell. Also worth a post over to the LCSmith bbs.

When you are looking to buy a set of barrels it seems like all the high condition barrels are 300-500. The project barrels, which are what you have, about half that much. Hard to get 500 when fitting and refinishing may cost that much as well. Selling never seems to have high prices when you just want to sell and move on.
