I need to take the stock off my Belgian OU for some stock work. It's a 1942 "FAUL" mfg. gun and I have the grip tang screws out and trigger guard off, but unsure what comes next. The screw you see in the first photo was hidden by the trigger guard, and when it's unscrewed it raises the tang behind the safety as it unscrews from the top tang. Does the screw under the top lever in the second photo need to come out? Do I need to do anything with the little locking screws on the sides of the action in the third photo? Any help would be greatly appreciated.--Dave

Dave, you deserve all those problems for fooling around with guns that have improperly oriented barrels. smile

Seriously, some of the "no major name" Belgian OU's from that era were nice guns.

Larry, this thing is pretty nice. Not a best gun, but better than average. Should make a fair grouse and pheasant shotgun!

I'm not sure how to take your comment. Care to elaborate?

Got it! smile Our grouse are used to pumps and .22's, so you'd think they'd be honored to get shot at by any form of two-holer.
