Thanks for the responses, and thanks Vic for the offer. And I wholeheartedly agree about Gun Craft and Best of the British - I really enjoyed reading them both. The chapter about H&H barrel regulation sorta led to this question, because it suggested that H&H distinguished itself based on its barrel regulation, but that is a service I would have expected all of the best gun makers to offer.
