I bought this 16 gauge bernardelli Brescia off gunbroker a week ago. My wife picked it up because I was working out of town when it came in. I haven't got ahold of the seller yet, but here is what it looks like. I was told the stock wasn't cut, but it is. Not too big of a deal there for me. I was told the frame was french gray patina, but it is just case hardening that is wore off. I can live with that. The big issue is that the bores are severely pitted. The end of the chamber is pitted and there are deep pits at the start of the bore. The pits are worse on the right barrel. There are no pits on the last 4" of both barrels. I haven't shot the gun ye and am debating if I should get my money back. I've spent the last 10 years looking for a 16 VB hammergun and this wasn't what I expected for the price I paid. What do the experts think? I've got some pics that I will try to post. Thanks.
