What in the hell are you guys shooting that requires industrial chemicals to clean from polished steel?

I use Rem Oil, and only Rem Oil, with a tight fitting bronze brush on a stout aluminum rod.

The 410 requires rotary drive with a 50 caliber brush, but the other gauges get squeaky clean.

Choke tubes get the drill press/tight brush treatment once in a while, but nothing is required to dissolve the plastic. The brush does just fine.
