Wonko the Sane, AKA Second vice president of the office of redundant redundancy for retrospective study of studies after the fact. That is him. But he is not the real problem and most others are not as well.
The real demise of this board is age and death. Every old fart we loose is a lifetime of learning lost. We are probably loosing five or more great posters a year with a combined knowledge base that is fast being lost for good. Many of these guys have been learning and figuring out stuff, about what we want to know, for more than four or five decades. Loose 250 years combined experiences and learning and the answers get thin and repeated until the responses seem to add nothing. Then the flames start and the post become these never ending Chinese fire drills. Most here have learned to ignore certain posters or just block all their response. Time is the problem and we stand zero chance of stopping it.
