Sometimes it's a combination of stock/trigger guard geometry and hand geometry. Some people have trouble with just about any DT gun; others, like Dennis, very rarely or not at all. I've never had an issue, and I've owned and shot hundreds of DT guns. My hands are small, but my fingers are fairly long. Maybe that combination helps. Lefties may have more of a problem than righties, because some triggers are positioned with a slight right hand bias, making a longer reach for lefties. But they can be bent some. Dennis or other gunsmiths can comment on that possibility.
