I think Torkelson made guns of his own after an association with Forehand and maybe Forehand's successor, Hopkins and Allen. Some of Torkelson's guns had the names of others like New Boston, New Worchester etc, but later this gun is a refined Torkelson with SST and Krupp barrels.

Thank you, everyone, for your input. I couldn't find anything about Blake and was at a standstill.

I'm curious about the action - instead of having case color or black or a silvery raw steel color, it's got a bronzey sort of patina to it. What causes that?
