Opening cans of worms without knowing if they are little or huge does concern me. Does anyone know if the "locking lug", ie the rib extension, is part of the rib?

On both of my Flues and a Nitro Special, the locking lug bearing rib extension is part of the rib itself. Just checked them with a magnifying glass. Looking at the breech, the seperation lines are clearly visable on all three.
