The Imus show is a considerable loss to my housebound wife, who watches mostly for the musical guests. There's more to Imus than poor attempts at humor at other's expense. The stature of many of the guests on that show has always surprised me, and he seems to be well regarded by many mainstream popular figures - some in politics. His 'friends' seem to have deserted him.

My bride will miss the show, and this saddens her. The people who enjoyed and looked forward to certain elements of the show seem to be forgotten here too.... perhaps Imus will resurface on a cable only channel, or satellite radio.

Zumbo might reappear as a spokeman for Brady or HCI, where he can further help define bad and evil guns.
