I got a email alert from Pook & Pook Auctions in Downingtown Pa (near Valley Forge) for an estate auction to be held tonight (6pm) & Tomorrow daytime (9am) (1/17-1/18).

The catalog seems to be a large amount of 17th-early 20th century period pieces including items from the early China trade, Pennsylvania/New England period pieces including furniture, decorative arts and even a Ca 1760 pair of Silver Queen Ann Candlesticks.

One of the items in the catalog is a Greener 10g w/32" barrels.

This is #593 in the catalog and will be sold about midway thru Saturday's round (9am thru ?? Eastern time).

It can be found via this link as well as details of absentee bidding and policies. While they do put up estimated value ranges I found that they will quickly go down to starting bids of $25 from whatever (a few hundred?) they have up. even so, if it is an item of value the bids will go up quickly to whatever the buyers are willing.

Here are some pics from their online catalog.

I have no association with this item or auction house except having bought a few non-gun related items from them in the past. They are a very reputable antiques auction house. they aren't gun specialists but would gladly answer and document any/all specific condition/provenance questions you might have before the auction.

They do move the bidding along quickly and will sell 60-100 items and hour. No trying to milk things and no inflating provenance/attribution with shady side-show hustler tactics (IE: "I'd ALMOST guarantee it to be a....") If an item cannot be properly verified as "xyz" it is not sold as that.

I can forward their email notice with highlights if anyone wants it. My email is in my profile & I usually get PMs.
