Very nice shotgun with a great piece of wood. I have seen a lot of Owen shotguns and to be honest if they did not have his name on them I would not know he did the work.
I have not studied his shotguns like I have the rifles and I'm sure a lot of them have gotten by me over the years. One time there was an Owen Brothers double advertised and by the time I got the ad in Alaska it was gone.
Bob Owen liked shotguns and built a bunch for himself. When times got tough he sold them like he did the Remington-12 pictured above. I'll try to find some of his ads and post them.

also a nice Owen 20bore O/U in here currently, German action, nicely made, double triggers, great shape too. I'll post pictures later.
