An Englishman's or indeed Scotsman's shed at the bottom of their gardens have produced many great inventions over the past three centuries. Of course some sheds are bigger than others. Not everybody can start out with a fully equipped factory.

As these guys have disappeared over time maybe they will start coming back as people appreciate the quality of an actioner,stocker ect.The money is there but it is getting wasted on purses and garments by the opposite sex . The man of the house in my area will shoot a factory auto of some sort but drive a $70,000 jap job.They have it backwards in my opinion.

What a great video. I spent a few years on a Bridgeport vertical in my youth, but never turned out anything like that. Let me know when the gentleman allows a camera into the shop while the chips are flying.

Thank you for posting the video, nice to see. Sure wish they would have zoomed in on the W. J. Jeffrey .450/400 DR; sounded nice but I would have liked to have seen it up close.
Big fan of Bridgeports here. Own two, "J" head and a Series 1 variable speed. Cut my teeth as a tool and die maker on these things. Handy to have.
