My fall-back is usually an inexpensive gun project (an oxy-moron of sorts, I know!) and/or a trip to a local pet'n shoot. What I'd like to try this year is a couple of side trips out of the snow-belt. Either pigs in Texas or quail in Arizona? Still working on logistics for both/either. All it takes is time and money. I should shoot more clay games but......it just doesn't do it for me. If it isn't food-gathering, it just isn't the same. This Fall was just lovely, and it always leaves me a little lost at the end of the season.
