Want to be careful about overstepping my bounds here, but I think this gun is located in Canada. That affects potential selling price. If sold to a Canadian buyer, Canadian prices tend to be a bit depressed when compared to American prices. I know I have used Don's chart to value guns and it's usually pretty accurate in my experience, when it's a US gun. Not surprising because I believe the chart is based on US market prices. My personal experience is that Don's chart is a bit high if the gun is for sale in Canada. Also, most American models tend to sell at a discount up here. I would be interested in the opinions of other Canadians who buy and sell regularly like Mark Dube or Gunsaholic. Of course with our dollar plummeting against the USD, that equation mat change in the near future.
Regardless, I think it's a beautiful gun and would look great in my safe. Don't have the 4k handy right now and of course we don't know if Oberndorf even plans to sell it.
