Half-assed speller, too. wink It's Valmet, not Valmont. Valmont makes center pivot irrigation systems.

For the price, a Browning Citori is excellent.
If you want a trap gun, a Browning BT-99 is superb, but of course, only shoots a single shot.
If you can, ask around at the gun club you attend. Citori's and BT's can be resold and you can get your dollars back.
Beretta makes wonderful trap guns too, but your budget may be strained to make that work.
A Citori with changeable chokes, adjustable comb, and not too beat up is a prize you can shoot well.

The SKB over under or combo with the single barrel might also be something to take a good look at for a starter trap set up.

If you're in a club and already doing some shooting, I bet your next gun is at the home of one the folks shooting a Perazzi, just collecting dust. Make friends, ask around, stuff will turn up that's not on the market. Be patient, and maybe do the same with a reloading set up. Good luck with it.

I have looked at the Beretta you listed, along with a 680 that Paul Crosnoe has for $1650. Guns International 100381791. I am not a serious trap shooter, but I want a gun that I know will not fail. The Berettas and Brownings have been around long enough to have established their reputations. I used to work for Galyan's Sporting Goods and we sold the Browning Citoris and Beretta over and unders. Both, nice guns.

A Superposed is a classy way to go if you're not a high volume shooter. That big wide fully machined Broadway rib is a statement piece.
