Had my first sporting clays shoot (Catskills NY) last summer. I couldnt hit a thing with the gun I had, so my buddy let me use his o/u. I hit most everything I wanted to. Even birds and a bit, bouncing rabbits, shooting clays the guy on the stand missed, and doubling converging clays.
He is 6'2", I'm 5'4". the gun was a Citori special sporting pigeon, 30" barrel. Never shot a 30" barrel before. He paid $600 to have a fit, and rework the gun. The LOP was 15 3/4", DAC 1" 5/8. The gun was cast for a righty, I shoot left!
No way I could ever hunt with the gun as it got well hung up on low gun mounts. Pre-mounted...best I ever shot!
The bum refused a $1000 offer for the gun...imagine that!
