I can't find any info on this Sauer sxs, boxlock action, extractors, double triggers,automatic safety, receiver appears to be bright plated and has typical JP Sauer engraving on sides and bottom of receiver, also has JP SAUER &Sohn on the bottom of the receiver. Single bead sight on matted concave rib. Left barrel stamped J P Sauer & Sohn Suhl. Righr barrel stamped special gewehr ( with a symbol consisting of 4 circles connected together to form an upside down 1/2 moon) T.RUF STAHL S.G.1 Serial number 501039 or 501059 stamping is light so take your choice of numbers.

should be J P Sauer und Sohne if pre-WW2- and Raimey is right- RUF STAHL means Russki steel--the same that went into the Moison-Nagant rifles--

Should be a date code stamp (month and year) and probably chamber length on the barrel flats.
