Ahh, checkering. Every time I finish a checkering job, I say never again. Then, when my back straightens up, my eyes uncross, and the headache goes away, I think wow, that really looks good. It takes me about 4 hours of off and on work to do one side of a pistol grip. And I can't find the carbide cutters that used to be in Midway's catalog, anymore. BTW, an old border tool can be used to space out old coarse flat top lines.
