The W E Brownell handles show up on Ebay now and again I was just informed by another lurker.
Never cheap, but what is I guess,,it's not like you use them once and throw them away.
Though some people may have after their first experience w/ the exciting world of wood checkering.
Mine are 35 y/o or older maybe and still in one piece.
Seach Ebay for simply 'Brownell(s) Checkering' or 'W E Brownell' I'm told and they may show up.
At least you can see what they look like. Maybe they can be found other places.
W E Brownell was a totally different business from the Brownells Gunsmith Supply operation as I understand it.
Just the similar name got many to think that the latter made and marketed the tools. As always,,I may have that wrong too!
