Chuck H. convinced me that the BSS was the best low budget choice for Cordoba. What do y'all think of this one? I am thinking this is the one - 28" barrels, 2-1/2" DAH, probably about seven pounds. http://www.gunsamerica.com/952226676/BROWNING_BSS_20_GAUGE_2.htm#
I am glad to be here.

That beautiful deep rich color just had to be done with some of New York City's finest methane sewer gas.
Practice safe eating. Always use a condiment.

Mike,
Have a bud who had a pair of BSS 20's stocked to suite him that have been to S.A. at least ten times [perhaps twice that now] & there has never been the first hint of an issue w/either gun. Both have seen a LOT of use down there & neither has ever required anything aside from cleaning at the end of the day & relubricating. They are rock solid guns & I would not hesitate to take one down south. Shoot it here a bit first just to get accustomed toit. I'd say it is a fine choice.
kind regards, tw

Mikey, you're such a great guy....I knew you would buy a gun from Ed as a show of tolerance and compassion.
Opinion on BSS's in general....I've owned several, they are built like a tank, a little heavy which helps with recoil during high volume shooting. I'd look for a straight grip 20 with 28" barrels, they handled a little quicker for me.
"last time I saw a chance like you, I shot about there."

RARE 28" Barrels.....WOW, such a deal Mike, and that fungus on the butt plate should be easy to fix.
Does the seller accept returns if it's junk....?....
Best,
Doug
