back in January 1966 I rode my motorcycle 350 miles from Chicago to Carbondale IL. In December 1969 I drove my TR3 from Oakland CA to Carbondale. In February 1989 I drove a 26' U-Haul from Houston to Seattle, and then again that year from Seattle to Chicago in December. Maybe I have a death wish, but I've never been one to let a little thing like winter weather delay a planned journey.
