Finally picked up my RBL-410 from my FFL on the 23rd. Got to shoot one round of skeet with it on the 24th and shot a 21. Missed a high two, a low six and both birds at station four. The gun weighs a fraction of an ounce over five pounds, and with the 28-inch barrels has a slight muzzle heavy bias. The frame is really tiny. The firing pin spacing is 13/16 inch center-to-center and the width across the breechballs is 1 5/8 inch. On the RBL-28 the firing pin spacing is 1-inch, same as the RBL-20, but the exterior of the 28-gauge frame is smaller, 1 7/8 inch across the breechballs while the 20-gauge is 2-inch. Here are some pics with the RBL-28 in the middle and the RBL-20 at top. Bottom view really accentuates the difference in size. Sorry about the crumby indoor flash pictures, but the weather hasn't cooperated for outdoor natural light pictures.

What a nice set of RBL's. I'd love to have a 410 to round out my set, but I am at an age where I can no longer tolerate CSM's extended build & delayed delivery times. Hoping to pick one up on secondary market. What chokes did you order? Do they mike to implied dems? Assume they are 3" guns?
A Springer Spaniel, a 6# double and a fair day to hunt.

Neat guns. Thanks for posting.
5lbs, 28" barrels, 410 - be a nice bobwhite gun!
I am glad to be here.

Thanks, Dave. I doubt seriously that we'll be seeing the .410 RBL on the secondary market. Maybe CSMC is still taking orders.

That's way cool, Dave! Looks like you got some really spectacular wood in that gun as well. Curious, were you shooting that round of skeet with the gun mounted or low gun? I found w/my 20 that I was quite hard pressed to shoot it well pre-mounted at skeet, but low gun it is a very natural shooter and in the field a real delight. At 5 pounds on a skeet field, it is all shooter, so I'm impressed either way, especially since it was your first round w/it. I'd hope you keep us in the loop as you get to use it more frequently.
