Have seen W.Richards pigeon guns with a similar shape. Better to keep your mouth shut and be thought stupid,than open it and confirm.

I have read the comments and I attach the Leeson web where you can find info on Leesons http://www.wrleeson.co.uk/ The Leeson collector is Adrian Macer and I am sure he would be glad to provide you more info.
