I have a '56 cross-bolted Silver Hawk in 20 ga. It has the factory stock and a custom Claro stock. I figure a min/max price range is $1200-1800. $1800 for a 12 ga. seems awfully steep.
You don't have to look hard to tell it is well built. Take care of it and you can pass it on. For reasons I don't remember, I took it to the Beretta guys at the Grand when it was in Vandalia. To my surprise, the lot of them dropped what they were doing to stand around, look the gun over, and talk about the nice field guns Beretta built back then
