I posted this on another site and quickly realized I was at the wrong place. Maybe someone can help here with some info on this old Parker.

In October, I was driving out from MN to Hershey PA for an old car swap meet. I stopped at a friends to see his car collection. I mentioned that I'd developed a real passion for old Beretta SXS guns and he asked what I knew about Parkers. I said, almost nothing. So he took me to his little gun room and opened this wooden box with a neat brass key and pulled out this hammer gun which belonged to his grandfather. (my friend is about 80). Anyway, the gun is not for sale, and I'm just posting here because the wood box and odd break open feature ahead of trigger guard, and sliding tab on the fore stock was different than anything I'd ever seen. The S/N is 11045 and matches on all the parts.

I'm quite sure it's not for sale, but would really appreciate comments that I can pass on to him about the age/grade etc.

All I had was my phone along to take photos, but I could probably have him email me photos of any other features which people would be interested in seeing.

Personally, I thought that the box with holes for shells was as interesting as the gun.
