Perazzi built SxS guns in the early days, before the O/U guns became famous. They have also built guns that didn't have drop out triggers, I think. Most of the P guns that I have seen and the two that I have owned had V springs to power the hammers, and V springs are liable to break, although they are supposed to have faster lock times. With the drop out feature, it only takes a couple of minutes to replace a spring. They also sell a little kit containing a pair of extra springs, a pair of firing pins with springs, a tool to compress the V spring and a rod to remove the firing pin retainer. For those with deeper pockets and a need to get back into action faster, they also sell extra trigger assemblies.
