I wouldn't worry too much about the strength of the stock as from the looks of it, it has been restocked and the grain layout through the grip looks just fine.
I have shot four of my vintage 303s with factory 174gr ammo (2 Gibbs Farqs, Jeffery Farq, and a Lee Speed) with no ill effects other than a dragging firing pin on the small Gibbs. Accuracy varied but the Speed is quite accurate with everything I have sent down the barrel.
They all fire formed to their respective chamber dimensions and the Jeffery and older Gibbs are definitely a little different than the other two. Unless you plan on keeping specific brass for your Jeffery, you will want to figure on full length resizing.
All modern 303 loads have the .311" bullet afaik so there is no worry about bullet diameter really.

Hello bghntr416,
Your Farquharson, being made circa 1886 would have been in a different calibre than it now is, my own Farquhason is also chambered in 303,but I am sure that would have been rebarreled more recently as it was made circa 1887,I find that as it has a very long throating to accommodate the 215 Gr bullet, it is difficult to seat a 180 gr bullet far enough out to touch the rifling, especially with the "boat tail" bullets that are now available, I am using 45Gr of H414 with the 180 gr bullet, or 25 gr of H4227 with a cast lead, gas checked 215 Gr bullet. As Huvius has stated, you may want to keep your brass dedicated to just this rifle and neck size only, which is what I do. You can check the records to see what calibre it was originally chambered in, unlike me, as mine is a G,Gibbs with no records available, but the frame size would give you some clue. Good luck with your endeavours !
Chris.

bghntr416,
I see your Jeff has a replacement safety lever.
Steve Bertram can make you an exact replacement for the original. He did for mine and it is perfect.
