Exactly. And that is why my most modern rifles are barely into the 20th century.

Every rifle, shotgun and pistol I own is pre-war (with the exception of a 28ga. O/U).
Breech seating can be beneficial with bolt guns too. I experimented with breech seating in a Winchester M54 .30/30. The resulting groups made with a plain base bullet custom made to fit the throat would make me blush to tell of.
