The seller of the rifle dug through his books and sent me a fully dimensioned drawing of the cartridge with directions for forming. Either you two have the same book or the wealth of knowledge filed away in your brain is incredible and your recall even more so!!!!!! (we know that to be true anyway!!). Same directions as yours, use 9.3 X 74R case, turn off rim, cut extractor groove, size, trim and fireform. Is there a standard width/depth to extractor grooves on Mauser actions?
I asked the seller if he would hold it for me contingent on some one of us finding a parent case and a way to make it. We're there...rifle will be ordered! Thanks a bunch!!!
