a relative lives in kansas city and wants to buy a between the wars gun and just needs a standard inspection by a doublesmith.
he has gotten simmons to do and ffl transfer for buying an out of town gun, but has never used simmons for more than paperwork. i know they had the uber implosion that totally screwed people, some mebers of this board. he says he heard they are under new ownership and nothing else about it.
i have a doublesmith friends to do work for him, but my cousin would like to have it inspected and then him inspect in person, all during the 3 day exam period.
any suggestions?
