Hi all,
I just thought that I'd share this story. I'm a college student and I'm helping to run our skeet/trap club this year. It's not a real collegiate team (yet), but we shoot a couple rounds of informal skeet and trap with members of the local gun club every other weekend. Anyways, the previous club presidents bought two ugly as sin shotguns, a synthetic stocked Beretta auto and Benelli pump with our grant money two years ago. So, last weekend, during a shoot, both the auto and the pump got jammed so badly they were out of commission until they could be completely stripped and cleaned. How you can jam a pump gun that badly is beyond me, but I digress. Luckily, I had also brought out my personal shotguns, my plain Jane L.C. Smith field grade, and my AyA 116. These guns performed flawlessly, and despite the tight fixed chokes, we had people who had only been out skeet shooting a few times before absolutely crushing clays. In fact, I had a lot of people asking where they could find one for themselves, and telling me that no gun that they ever fired ever fit them so well.
