I was invited last night to join a fellow on his lake tomorrow morning to shoot ducks. I have only one gun that I maybe can shoot steel thru.
Among the SxSs I brought down here from MT with me, I have a Poli Ivory Deluxe with screw-in Briley Titinium choke tubes. The ones in the gun are marked IC and L.Mod.
Can steel shot be used with these tubes? If not, I will reluctantly used some of my supply of Kent Matrix I acquired in the event I have to hunt pheasants in Game Production areas here in SD.
I really would hate to waste a 3 dollar shell shooting a duck, so I am hoping that these tubes will take steel shot.
The local gunsmith did not know if they are good for steel.
If anyone here knows whether they are compatible with steel shot, I would appreciate an answer today.
