We live and die by beeper collars, on wild Chukars. I owned Innotek 2 dog, liked the features, but they aren't built to stand up nor to be repaired.
I currently have a 4 dog TriTronics Classic 70 (2 years). This unit is used nearly 300 days per year, they perform well and are hardy units. Recently one of the collars had a problem with a probe not unscrewing. Tritronics sent me a new reciever immediately.
They're pricey but will last for a long time to come. Years ago I had a 1 dog AL-70 LR it lasted me 8 years before I finally sold it on Ebay. Probably still running.
