I totally agree with Peter M and Fred Lowe, I think you might be asking too much from a young dog,...at one year the attention span is not there, sure there are exceptions but mostly they are still pups at that age and should be given some slack, if he wants to chase dicky birds let him, he will soon figure it all out, just don't loose your cool when he does, and if you need to buy equipment...Tritronics is the way to go

Talked with Dogtra today and on Friday of this week they are introducing a new T&B called the 2500, LCD display, 2hr. rechargable, and some other updates on the 2000 system. Seems like a nice system. Been following this thread with interest and appreciate all the insight and comments. Keep it up. Randy
