For some unfathomable reason I seem to have received my quarterly DGJ early. I need to record the position of the planets and major stars, I guess, for this is truly a noteworthy happening. Most noteworthy, though, because of the content. What an issue!!
It contains articles by no less than three of our distinguished forum members, on three fabulous guns. Craig Larter has a piece on a gorgeous Parker AAHE, Walter Snyder has fathered an article on a high condition Ithaca 4E, and Frank Srebro (Silvers) has graced us with a very well researched representation on a beautiful, rare and unique Fox pigeon gun. The photography and content in each of these is almost breathtaking.
Those of you not yet in possession of the Autumn issue have a very special one headed your way. Rarely do I find so many articles in an issue that pique my interest. Many others that I find interesting, also, are contained, with no less than two by Ross Seyfried and one by Sherman Bell. All DGJs are keepers, but this is an XE Grade Keeper!
Many thanks to the authors and the Cote's on this great edition.
Get ready, SRH
