A back action hammer rifle, and made by Dicksons, one of my favorite actions by a favorite maker, and with such history is a treasure. An interesting coincidence about the lion with no mane. Paterson wrote in his book of man eating lions with no mane. And a documentary, a National Geo if I recall, showed man eating lions with no mane. Makes you wonder if there is an underlying cause there.
