Yes it does Hammer, thanks. My oldest son shoots a 6.5 Swede and is sending me some 160 gr. RN to try. If I can EVER get a GOOD barrel slug and it proves so big, I have found some Hornady 160 gr. RN at .268 for the 6.5 Carcano. My best slug so far, it isn't anything to write home about, mics approximately .267-.268. The twist is about 1-7 1/2 or 1-8 so it will definitely stabilize the longer, heavier bullet, according to the Greenhill formula.
I have to stand corrected on the RE-7 comment. RE-7 gave excellent results in my 8.15 X 46R. I've never used it in the 6.5. Good example of why I write down my actual loads....my memory is not to be trusted!!! My son reports good results with RE-19 in his 6.5 Swede so I may give it a go.
