Turns out it's a 116 after all. I just re-checked my email from AyA and they said it was a 116, somehow I had 117 in my head. Either way, it shoots great and it's really made me come around to shooting shorter barrels. Barrel #1 is 25", and my usual go-to gun, L.C. Smith Field, has 30" barrels.
I'm helping to run my college shooting sports club and it's always fun to outshoot the rest of the guys who are all shooting black, plastic Berettas. Everyone assumes that my doubles are all ancient when I bring them out because they're not stocked with black plastic.
