The whole thing is a plot to stop hunting. First in CA. Then the nation. These people have no real science behind it. Make it harder or more expensive to hunt, and you will loose hunters. Condors done eat doves, quail, or pheasant etc.
What the antis don't think about is this will bankrupt the refuges they love to bird watch at for free.
Don't give in. If you stop hunting that is what they want.
