xausa Sidelock Joined: Apr 2006 Posts: 641 Likes: 2 Puryear, TN	My experience with the .22 Savage HiPower (5.6X52R) is that it kills whitetail deer like lightning with its 70 grain .228 bullet, but it's not a cartridge to use where there is danger of the bullet hitting an intervening object (weed, twig) and deflecting.
