Thanks for that, it just so happens to be the colour of our carpet throughout the house.
I think I really ought to get a better quality camera as well.
Loathe to throw anything out thats still working and was top of the line when I bought it.
Anything electronic these days is outdated within weeks, although this camera is not weeks old but years.
As to why anybody would cut back the barrel you have to remember that forty or fifty years ago these rifles were just old rifles with not much monetary value. I bought a Rigby 350 square bridge magnum Mauser back in the late seventies early eighties for around two hundred and fifty pounds when I lived in England.
Including two packets of factory Ammo
