I know this is not a double but I believe I saw one very similar awhile back. Anyway, there are no markings on the receiver flat. There is a letter S in a diamond on the bottom of the barrel also the numeral 1. On the side of the receiver is the numeral 12 and a tiny mark I can't make out even with a glass. It is engraved with a Greener safety on the side and sling swivels. Anyone care to make a guess? My mistake, the 12 and mark are on the side of the barrel at the breech.

There was a Japanese single shot floating around on GB a year or so ago that had the Greener side safety. Take off the barrel and look underneath for proof marks...Geo

There are no proofs only the S in a diamond and the 1 above it.

DT, don't give up. skeettx makes it sound easy and straightforward, WHICH IT IS ONCE YOU HAVE LEARNED AND DONE IT. LOL
Until then, as you are learning, it is annoying, irrational, and just plain bothersome computer crap. However, you will be pleased if you persevere to the end and you will at some point wonder why you thought it to be difficult. Good luck!
