Thanks for the nice response. Aside from fitting the barrel, the work is my own. I had Dennis Olson machine the stock blank from a pattern I made. My idea at the outset was to make something with a vintage, traditional look to it but with some modern touches. I haven't shot it much yet, but it appears to do as well as I do with open sights. I want to hunt with it this fall. Every season I intend to use some rifle I never quite get around to. I'm just finishing up a kind of companion rifle to this one, another high wall in 22 Hornet.
